About Us
The internet used to have an information problem. Now it has an information flood.
AI churns out articles faster than anyone can read them. Mainstream newspapers, fewer of them every year, recycle the same takes through the same handful of voices. Somewhere between the algorithmic noise and the editorial monopoly, real HUMAN perspective is getting harder to find.
PaperWall is our small attempt to push back on that.
Who we are
We’re a handful of enthusiasts scattered across a few countries. We have day jobs. PaperWall is what we do because we want to, not because we have to. No editors-in-chief barking deadlines, no advertisers shaping the angle, no algorithm picking our topics for us. Just people who read a lot, think about what they read, and write down what they actually believe.
What we publish
Our articles come in whatever form fits the story:
- POV pieces: one of us telling you how something looks from where they sit
- Analysis: taking something complicated apart so it’s easier to think about
- Facts: the numbers, the timeline, the receipts, without the editorial
- Comparisons: how X stacks up against Y, with our reasoning on the table
What ties them together is one promise: we show you our prism, not a worldview to buy into. No manipulation, no blackmail, no hidden agenda. When we change our minds, we say so.
A few honest notes
- We use AI to help us write better, never to write for us. Our ideas, reporting, and opinions are ours; the robot just helps with grammar and structure. More in our Terms.
- Most of the images on the site aren’t ours. They come from free stock libraries (Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay), Creative Commons sources, or are AI-generated. Details in our Terms.
- If we get something wrong, tell us. We correct in public and we’ll note what changed. Email [email protected].
- You can republish our text on your own site, even commercially, as long as you credit us with a working link back. We’re trying to build a small island of human thinking on the open web. Pass it on.
That’s it. Thanks for reading.
